Ingredients
For the dough
200g flour100g butter
1 small egg
1 tablespoon of concentrated tomato paste (optional)
1 pinch salt
For the topping
1 egg3 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Así puedes prepararlo
1. Place sifted flower in a mixing bowl, add room temperature butter, egg, a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon tomato paste. Mix with your hands or food processor until you have an even consistency mixture.
2. Divide dough into two parts, wrap in plastic wrap and store in the fridge for 30 minutes.
3. Spread the dough on the silicone baking mat and roll it out using a rolling pin until you have a thickness of about 3mm. Cut the dough using the cutter of your choice.
4. Place the crackers on the baking tray and using a kitchen brush, brush on the beaten egg.
5. Sprinkle with the desired toppings: grated Parmesan, oregano, seeds... then bake in the pre-heated oven at 180ºC for 15 minutes or until you can see that the top is browned.
6. Let cool on a rack and serve.
