Gelatin Skulls

Ingredients

For the red skulls:
125 ml red berry juice 
1 tbsp sugar 
2 g agar agar (1 packet) 

 

For the black skulls:
125 ml water 
1 tbsp sugar
A few drops of licorice extract or licorice paste
A few drops of black food coloring 
2 g agar agar (1 packet)

Así puedes prepararlo

1.Heat the juice or water with sugar until it starts to boil. You can do this in a pot over heat or in the microwave.
2. Add the agar agar, the coloring and the extract (for the licorice skulls) and stir with a spoon until this is completely dissolved.
3. Pour the liquid in the skull cavities.
4. Refrigerate. It should be solidified in 15 minutes.

ADVICE
Gluten-free and lactose-free recipe. 
You can use freshly-squeezed, bottled or well-blended fruit juice.
You can sweeten to your personal preference. If you have a particularly sweet tooth, you can even roll them in sugar after the last step.
