Mummies ( Short Pastry with frankfurt)

1.Spread the dough and cut it in rectangles a few centimeters larger than the frankfurts.
2. Make parallel cuts in the sides of the dough and wrap the frankfurter to look like a mummy.
3. Stick the cloves (or peppercorns) in one end for the eyes.
4. Brush the beaten egg on the dough and put the “mummies” on the round pizza mat.
5. Pre-heat the oven to 200 ºC.
6. Place the round pizza mat on the oven rack (or a perforated tray) and place it in the middle of the oven. Bake approx. 10 minutes until the crust is golden and crispy.
