Cherry and Oatmeal Granola

What you need

Ingredients


250 g cherries

For the base:
200 g flour
70 g powdered almonds
40 g sugar
60 g butter + 1 teaspoon
1 large egg
1 pinch of salt

  • 1 For the base, put the flour with the almonds, sugar, egg, softened butter and salt in a bowl and mix with fingers until you get a smooth mixture. 2 Spread the mixture with a rolling pin on a flat, floured surface to make a rectangle the same size of the mould. Cover the bottom of mould with the mixture and then top with the halved, pitted cherries. 3 Mix the crust ingredients in a bowl and spread over the cherries. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35-40 minutes. 4 Remove from the oven when toasted and leave to cool before cutting into squares.


    1. Corta las cerezas por la mitad, retírales el hueso y reserva.


    2. Mezcla los ingredientes de la costra en un bol, añade las cerezas y reparte la costra sobre la base de forma uniforme. Cuece en el horno a 180ºC durante 35-40 minutos.


    3. Retira del horno, deja enfriar, desmolda y corta los cuadrados.
