Mushrooms with bacon and cheese

24 button mushrooms

12 strips bacon cut in half

Havarti type Cheese

  • 1.       Remove the mushrooms’ stalks and place a cube of cheese in the cavity that is left

    2.       Wrap the mushroom in a rasher of bacon

    3.       Thread 3 mushrooms on each skewer

    4.       Repeat with 8 skewers

    5.       Place in the mould, season and cover

    6.       Cook for 2 or 3 minutes in the microwave on the highest setting (800W).

    7.       Leave to rest for 1 minute in the closed container

     

    Recommendations

     We recommend adding 1 or 2 tablespoons of water before placing in the microwave to generate more steam during cooking

    Make sure you remove the hardest part of the bacon skin

    If the mushrooms are small, cut the rashers of bacon in half before wrapping them
