Poached eggs with bacon and green asparagus on toasted croutons in the oven

1 egg 1 rasher of bacon 4 green asparagus 1 slice toasted bread Salt Pepper

  • 1. Remove the hard part of the asparagus and chop them up. Place in the Ovo with a trickle of oil and a pinch of salt. Cover and microwave for 1-2 minutes at full power (800W).

    2. Chop the bacon and sauté in a pan. Add to the OVO.

    3. Add the egg with no shell, and season with salt and pepper. Cover and microwave for 30 seconds at 800 W (5 minutes in bain-marie).

    4. De-mould on a dish and serve with a slice of toasted bread.
