Bacon and cheese cake

What you need

6 eggs
360 g flour
2 teaspoons powdered yeast
300 g smoked bacon, cut into strips
200 ml olive oil
mild 200 ml milk
½ teaspoon nutmeg
300 g grated Gruyere cheese
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Así puedes prepararlo

Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
Add the flour sifted with the yeast to the yolks and dilute with milk and oil, then beat.
Beat the whites and a pinch of salt into stiff peaks and gently fold into the yolk mixture.
Add the cheese, bacon and pepper and stir.
Pour into the mould. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 40 minutes.
Serve warm accompanied by a green salad.
