Savarin marble cake

What you need

300 g / 11 oz of butter
275 g / 9,7 oz of sugar
375 g / 13 oz of baking flour
5 g / 0,2 oz of vanilla
5 g / 0,2 oz of salt
15 g / 0,5 oz of rum
5 eggs
8 g / 0,3 oz of baking powder
3 g / 0,1 oz of baking soda
50 g / 1,8 oz of milk
20 g / 0,7 oz of cocoa poder

Así puedes prepararlo

    1. Preheat the oven at 190ºC/374ºF.
    2. Mix the butter and the sugar, rum, eggs, milk and beat for 4 minutes.

    3. Sift the flour and the rest of dry ingredients, except for the cocoa powder.

    4. Divide the mix in two and add the cocoa powder to one of the halves. Beat and set aside.

    5. Pour in the mold alternating both mixes, and with the help of a chopstick stir it to achieve the marblelike effect. Bake for 45-50 minutes at 190ºC/374ºF. Allow to settle before unmolding.
