Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 30g butter
  • 50g sugar
  • 30g flour
  • 40g semi-bitter chocolat
  • 40g chopped walnuts

Method

  1. Melt chocolate and butter in microwave (thaw mode) and leave to cool.
  2. Add sugar, eggs, flour and chopped walnuts and pour into the mould.
  3. Bake in a hot oven (180-200ºC or gas mark 6 or 7) for 10 to 15 minutes, (depending on type of oven).
  4. Lower temperature of oven and bake until top looks crunchy.
  5. While it’s still warm, cut brownie into 3- or 4-cm chunks after you’ve taken it out of the mould, using a smooth-blade knife. Sieve icing sugar over the top.
