Banana Bread

Prepare this easy banana bread recipe for your snack time at home!

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe medium bananas
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 60 g vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 190 g wheat flour
  • 1⁄2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp powdered cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 50 g granola with fruit (decoration)
  • 20 g raw almonds or walnuts (decoration)

Method

  1. Mash the bananas and place them in a large bowl with the sugar, egg, oil, and vanilla. Beat with a whisk.
  2. Add all the dry ingredients to the previous mixture (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon) and beat until smooth. Add the chopped walnuts to the mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture into the mold and bake in the oven, preheated to 180ºC, for 45 to 50 minutes, until the inside is well cooked. Finally, let cool, remove from the mold, and serve. *For best results, grease or flour the pan at the beginning of the preparation.
