Classic donut

A homemade version of the classic donut!

What you need

00-grade wheat flour (strong)
225 g
Milk
75 ml
Egg
1
Dried yeast
3 g
Butter
75 g
Vanilla Essence
5 ml
Sugar
40 g
Salt
5 g

For the topping:

Icing sugar
50 g
Water
5 ml

Así puedes prepararlo

  1. Mix warm milk with the sugar and dried yeast until the yeast is completely dissolved.
  2. In another bowl, add the flour to the salt.
  3. Add the milk and the room temperature butter, the vanilla essence, and the egg.
  4. Combine the two mixtures and knead for 10 minutes.
  5. Leave the dough to rest covered for 30 to 40 minutes in a warm place.
  6. Form 40 gram balls and place them in each chamber of the Mold for donuts, from the center to the outside.
  7. Leave to rest covered for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes at 180ºC.
  9. Leave to cool and remove.
  10. For the topping, mix the icing sugar and the water to form a smooth mixture, and coat the donuts. Ready to eat!
