Coffee doughnuts with almonds
Ingredients for the donuts:
200 g flour
150 g sugar
100 g butter
4 eggs
1⁄2 tsp powdered cinnamon
1 tsp instant coffee
1 tsp baking powder
A handful of raw or toasted almonds
Ingredients for the coffee cream:
100 g icing sugar
1⁄2 egg white
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp instant coffee

Break the eggs into a bowl, add the sugar and instant coffee, and stir with a whisk until it begins to thicken. Add the flour mixed with the baking powder and cinnamon and stir again. Finally, stir in the melted butter and mix until incorporated.
Spread the mixture into the cups and bake in the oven, preheated to 200 ºC, for 15 minutes.
For the coffee cream, beat the 4 ingredients until smooth and uniform.
Remove the doughnuts from the oven, let cool completely and decorate to taste with the coffee cream and chopped almonds.
*For best results, grease or flour the pan at the beginning of the preparation.
