Caramel Lollies

Ingredients

  • 140 g of sugar
  • 2 spoonfuls of water
  • TO DECORATE:
  • 2 spoonfuls of sesame seeds
  • 2 spoonfuls of chopped nuts

Method

  1. Put the sugar and the water in a saucepan and cook, without stirring, over a medium heat for 5 – 6 minutes until you get a golden caramel. The timing may vary depending on the heat (be careful it does not burn). Leave to cool for a few seconds so the bubbles disappear. Place the sticks and any condiments you like in the mould and then carefully pour in the caramel, making sure it does not overflow. Leave to cool on the work surface for 15 minutes. Carefully remove the lollies from the mould and assemble.
