Rustic-style crisps

Prepare some homemade peasant-style potato chips in the microwave!

Ingredients

  • Soaked lentils 75 g
  • Raw potato 75 g
  • Salt 1⁄2 tsp
  • Powdered garlic 1 tsp
  • Onion powder 1 tsp
  • Smoked paprika 1 tsp
  • Parsley 1 tsp
  • Ground cumin 1/4 tsp

Method

  1. Soak the lentils for 2 to 3 hours.
  2. Peel and cut the potato into small pieces. Place the drained lentils, potato and salt in a bowl. Blend until smooth.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly using a spatula until the holes are completely full.
  4. Mix the spices. To enhance the flavour of the crisps, place half of the spices in the mix, and sprinkle the other half over the mix.
  5. Remove the top guide and microwave for 4 minutes at 800W. Let the steam escape from the microwave, then cook for 3 more minutes.
  6. Remove the product from the microwave and leave the crisps to stand for 1 minute, or until they cool down and get a crisp texture.
