Rice and lentils meatballs

What you need

6 oz. of cooked lentils (170 g)
1,4 oz. of rice (40 g)
80 ml of water
1,7 oz. of carrot (50 g)
3,5 oz. of onion (100 g)
1,4 oz. of bread crumbs (40 g)
Salt
Pepper
1,7 oz. of soft goat cheese (50 g)

For the sauce:
3,5 fl.oz. of soy sauce (100 ml)
2 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
a pinch of ground chilli

Así puedes prepararlo

    1. Put 40g of rice with 1/4 cup of water (80 ml) in the Quick Quinoa & Rice Cooker with a little salt, and cook in the microwave for 4 min. at full power (800W).

    2. Peel and grate the carrot, peel and finely chop the onion. In a frying pan, heat the oil and fry the vegetables for about 8-10 minutes.

    3. Add the rice and season with salt and pepper.

    4. Let the mixture cool. Once cool, pour the mixture into a bowl and add the bread, cheese and lentils. Using a fork, mash until you get the desired consistency.

    5. Add the mix to the Veggie Balls to prepare the balls.

    6. Place the balls on a baking tray with the Silicone baking mat and place in a preheated oven at 200ºC. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden.

    7. For the sauce: Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.

    8. Serve the veggie balls with the sauce. All set! Enjoy your delicious vegetarian rice and lentils meatballs.
