Kefir panna cotta

What you need

Ingredients for preparing kéfir:

800 ml refrigerated milk

2 tablespoons of granules or 80 g of culture (powdered or prepared kefir)

 

Ingredients for preparing kefir panna cottas:

300 g kefir*

100 g cream

75 g sugar

1 envelope gelatine or 6 sheets

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

 

*If you decide to prepare it at home, you do not need to add it to the purchase list

Así puedes prepararlo

  1. Pour 800 ml of refrigerated milk into the translucent container.

  2. Heat the milk in the microwave at 800 W for 1 minute (25 ºC).

  3. Place the filter and grinder in the container.

  4. Add 2 tablespoons of kefir granules.

  5. Place the container with the lid in the heat insulator.

  6. Ferment for approximately 20 hours.

  7. Remove from the heat insulator, take the lid off and turn the strainer 90º.

  8. Stir with the grinder and filter the kefir, leaving only the granules in the strainer.

  9. Enjoy your homemade kefir!

 

Make the most of your kefir and taste some creamy panna cottas:

  1. Retrieve 300 g of your previous preparation of kefir.

  2. Pour 1 envelope of gelatine in a small bowl and soak it with 3 tablespoons of cold water. Set aside.

  3. Place the cream and sugar in a pot and bring to a boil.

  4. Remove from the heat and add the soaked gelatine, vanilla, and kefir. Mix with the spoon-spatula until there are no lumps.

  5. Place in the muffin pan cups and refrigerate for 4 hours.

  6. Unmold and add whatever you like: honey, walnuts, red berries, etc.
